Brief: Rebrand and design ustwo’s new app “PartyPooper” and deliver mock-ups for the design, an execution strategy and present the new design.
Something personal… Design is not my strongest element, but ideas are. In this project we had the fantastic agency Ustwo as client and they wanted us to redesign and rebrand their app PartyPooper. The UX for this app was the key. The user was supposed to use this app at a party so that everyone could choose songs by suggesting and voting at the songs by connecting the app to Spotify. So we don’t want the user to be an actual PartyPooper by being stuck in an app that craves time and effort. It should be simple and clean, so we built an design around that. What i learnt during this project is that i don’t have to be a pro at the practical parts of working with design to actually create something. Me and my best friend got the chance to work together and he’s an amazing designer so we all used each others skills to create the best outcome and Ustwo was thrilled when we pitched the design. Lovely!
